On Thursday 29th September, Helen Winterson held a Fashion event in store supporting Macmillan's Centenary Year. Throughout the day our models Gilly and Angie showed fashions from our Autumn collections and customers were able to enjoy a glass of champagne.
Helen Winterson donated £1 for every £100 spent on the day and customers making a purchase were entered into a prize draw to win a £ 100 Helen Winterson voucher.

On Thursday 31st March we hosted a super fashion day. Our models Gilly and Sandy showed a wide selection of the spring and summer fashions whilst customers sipped champagne!
A very successful fundraising raffle took place for Beechwood Cancer Care in memory of our colleague Sue Darke raising a magnificent 519. A big thank you to all!

Helen Winterson was pleased to take part in this exciting event on Thursday 23rd September 2010 which was part of Marple Festival.
The event showcased a number of local independent retailers. It was a very successful evening greatly enjoyed by participants and audience alike.
At the end of the evening Judi Winterson with representatives from the other businesses presented a cheque to Denise Harding representing a donation of over £500 to Marple Cancer Charities.

On the 4th August we held a very successful in store fashion event. Our Models Sandy and Pat showed the latest autumn arrivals whilst customers enjoyed a glass of fizz and a cup cake! During the event we were very pleased to be able to present Joan Waters from the Marple Cancer Charities Committee, pictured here with Judi Winterson and the models, with a cheque for £500 representing funds raised by customers who supported our campaign of recycling the Helen Winterson carrier bags. This project has now come to a close with the introduction of a new recyclable carrier.
We are pleased to report that in the weeks running up to Christmas 616 was raised for Marple Cancer Charities from the sale of necklaces made by Moya from vintage buttons.
Our staff definitely got in the mood to support last winter’s breast cancer awareness campaign, Wear it Pink.
We were pleased to support the MacMillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2010 on Friday 24th September.
We had a very successful morning raising £212.15 for the charity from the generosity of our customers and staff including a raffle for a “Treasure Trove” of goodies which included pieces of handmade vintage button jewellery by Moya
